The German hacker group Chaos Computer Club had it’s 23th anniversary this Sunday the 12. September.

It was a great celebration for a great birthday. In 1981 none was able to realize what computer mean to us today. Being involved for such a long time brings a lot of experience for the future, and I hope we’ll be able to reach the nerds and geeks of tomorrow as the Chaos was able to reach me years ago.

Here is the first public announcement dating back to the 1st September 1981 inviting for a meeting in Berlin to socialize about topics of information, computers and society.

So fly Chaos fly, fly for another 23 years and far beyond. – And thanks, so much thanks for the fish. (aka my first visit at the Chaos Communication Camp 1999)
