Jep, I got my seriall cable and thus installed OpenSIMpad the OPIE/OpenEmbeddet Linux Distribution(!) [1] for my SIMpad SL4 . The first install was really easy , the 13MB Flash Image [2] is armed with a solid base system and some first applications. The ipkg packet service works great and because the Zaurus and the SIMpad are compatible there is already a large number of packets available. This lowlevel ‘Konqueror’ is not so good as all, it lags MIME support so downloading things is an awful task, and an offline cache has to be improved. open
